Men are often the forgotten sex in knit design, with boxy shapes and lazy techniques all designed to be easy for the knitter, not the recipient.

In this masterclass you will cover:

• Identifying the key physical differences between men’s and women’s body shapes.
• How to measure and alter for each sex.
• Techniques to enhance existing patterns to achieve the perfect fit.

How to tackle fuller busts or hips, what looks best on fuller figures or petite shapes. Long bodies or cropped, raglan sleeves, set in or dropped shoulders? Find what design elements will have you looking your best in your finished garments.

After a fun modern look?   You’ve lusted after unique art yarns but don’t know how to integrate them?

Learn to incorporate bulky, textured art yarns into your garments without strangling the yarn or making overly thick or stiff fabrics.

You will be using beehive yarn, textured art yarns and learning to incorporate long locks .

You will learn the techniques and see samples from Annette, one of New Zealand’s leading artisans of art and textured hand spun yarns.
